Oil Pressure Relief Valve: Installation

  1. Lubricate relief valve with oil.
    CAUTION: The pressure relief valve must be installed as shown in (Figure), or engine damage may occur.
  2. Install valve, spring and retainer cap (Figure).
  3. Install new cotter pin.
  4. Install the oil pan. (Refer to INSTALLATION ).
