(3) Use an API energy conserving engine oil that is certified for gasoline engines. On 2.5L, 3.9L and 5.9L, use 10W-30 (preferred). On 4.7L, use 5W-30 (preferred).
(4) Use Mopar® manual transmission fluid, P/N 4874464. Proper fluid level is to bottom of fill hole.
(5) Capacity is not available from manufacturer. Fluid level should be at HOT line if vehicle has been operated or at FULL COLD line if vehicle has not been operated within the last 6 hours.
(6) Models with Trac-Lok limited slip differential must have 5 ozs. (.15L) of Mopar® Trac-Lok Friction Modifier added if lubricant is changed. Fluid capacity includes friction modifier.
(7) Rear differential may be identified by number of bolts on rear cover. The 9 1/4" ring gear has 12 bolts on rear cover. On 8 1/4" ring gear, fill to 1/4" below fill hole. On 9 1/4" ring gear, fill to 5/8" below fill hole.
