Component Tests: Relays
Remove relay to be tested. See Figure and Figure . Continuity should not exist between relay terminals No. 1 and 4. See Fig 1 . Connect a fused jumper wire between battery voltage and relay terminal No. 2. Connect a second jumper wire between ground and relay terminal No. 3. Continuity should be less than 2 ohms between relay terminals No. 1 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
