Seat Assembly: Removal

NOTE: Lowering the convertible top will ease in the removal and installation.
  1. Tilt the steering wheel in the full up position.
  2. Remove the seat belt strap anchor bolt. Disengage the seat belt strap from the seat belt guide.
  3. Place seat back in the most forward position.
  4. Position seat to the full forward position.
  5. Remove nuts attaching the rear seat frame to floor.
  6. Slide seat to the rearward position.
  7. Remove bolts attaching front seat frame to floor.
  8. Disconnect seat belt wire connector (driver's side only).
  9. Carefully lift seat out of vehicle.
    CAUTION: Do not lift seat assembly out of vehicle by the adjuster handle. This may cause the handle to over- travel, damage to handle/latch mechanism and tracks can become misaligned.
