No Termination

NOTE:
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS after each repair.
Possible Causes:
- CCD Bus (+) Circuit Open
- CCD Bus (-) Circuit Open
- PCM And Instrument Cluster
Testing
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector C3. Check and repair connectors as necessary. Turn ignition on. Using a jumper wire, connect PCM connector C3 terminal No. 30 (Violet/Brown wire) to ground. See Figure . Using scan tool, perform CCD bus test. If scan tool does not display SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in Violet/Brown wire. If scan tool displays SHORT TO GROUND, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Remove jumper wire. Using a jumper wire, connect PCM connector C3 terminal No. 28 (White/Black wire) to ground. Using scan tool, perform CCD bus test. If scan tool displays SHORT TO GROUND, replace both PCM and EMIC. If scan tool does not display SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in White/Black wire.
