Slave Cylinder: Removal

NOTE: Replacement slave cylinder assemblies come prefilled with fluid. No fluid service or system bleeding should be required, unless excessive air has been introduced to clutch hydraulic circuit. (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - BLEEDING CLUTCH HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT (LHD/RHD MODELS)  ).
  1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  2. Disconnect clutch hydraulic quick connect using tool 6638A (Fig 1 ).

  3. Remove left lateral bending brace.
  4. Remove damper bracket nuts (Fig 2 ).
  5. Remove slave cylinder mounting bolts (Fig 2 ).
  6. Remove slave cylinder from vehicle.
