Intake Manifold: Description
The intake manifold is a two-piece design and is made of a composite material (Fig 1). The manifold attaches to the cylinder head with fasteners. The manifold's four tuned intake runners curve over the top of the cylinder head and connect to a plenum chamber. This design enhances low and mid-range torque and also provides less induction noise (rumble).
