Water Pump Inlet Tube: Installation
- Inspect the O-ring for damage before installing the tube into the cylinder block. (Figure). Replace O-ring as necessary.
- Lubricate O-ring with Mopar® Dielectric Grease and install inlet tube into the cylinder block opening.
- Install inlet tube fasteners and tighten to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
- Install intake manifold lower support bracket fasteners and tighten to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
- Connect the radiator lower hose and heater hose to inlet tube.
- Install the intake manifold. (Refer to 2.0L SOHC 4-CYLINDER ).
- Install the radiator upper hose.
- Fill the cooling system. (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
- Pressure test cooling system and check for leaks. (Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING ).
