Solenoid/Pressure Switch Assembly: Installation

NOTE: If the Solenoid/Pressure Switch assembly is being replaced, the Quick Learn Procedure must be performed. (Refer to SHIFT QUALITY QUICK-LEARN PROCEDURE (2002) or TRANSAXLE SHIFT QUALITY QUICK LEARN PROCEDURE (2003))
  1. Install Solenoid/Pressure Switch Assembly and screen to the separator and transfer plates. See Figure.
  2. Install and tighten retaining screws to 6 N.m (35 in. lbs.) torque. See Figure.
  3. Install valve body. (Refer to VALVE BODY )
