Component Locations

RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENT LOCATIONS

Component (1) Location
Clockspring On steering column, below steering wheel
Data link connector Under left side of instrument panel, right of steering column
Driver-side air bag module Front face of steering wheel
Occupant restraint controller Transmission tunnel floor panel, under instrument panel
Passenger-side air bag module Right side of instrument panel, under instrument panel top pad
Shorting bar Internal to initiator's (squib) connectors
Side air bag module Outboard sides of front seat back frames beneath seat cover
Side impact air bag control module Inside of B-pillars, behind lower B-pillar trim panel
