Monitored & Set Conditions

System is monitored immediately after engine start-up. The PCM activates the Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) Solenoid. DTC will set if the PCM does not see the NVLD switch open during test. NVLD Assembly may also be referred to as a leak detection pump.
