Installation (2.7L)

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW gasket at EGR valve assembly and NEW rubber seals on each side of EGR upper pipe. Ensure EGR upper pipe correctly seats in upper intake manifold.
  2. Ensure all bolts are loosely installed before tightening any bolts. Tighten EGR upper pipe-to-upper intake manifold bolts, EGR upper pipe-to-EGR valve assembly bolts, EGR lower pipe-to-exhaust manifold bolts and then EGR valve assembly bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
