Headlight Switch Mismatch

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear all Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs. Turn headlights to "A" (Auto) position. Recheck for DTCs. If HEADLAMP SWITCH MISMATCH resets, go to next step. If HEADLAMP SWITCH MISMATCH does not reset, conditions necessary to set this DTC are not present at this time. Check for intermittent poor connections or faulty circuits and repair as necessary.
  2. Visually identify headlight switch. If headlight switch does not have "A" position, go to next step. If headlight switch has "A" position, replace headlight switch with a headlight switch without "A" position. For removal and installation procedures, see ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article.
  3. Replace Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
