No TCM Bus Messages Received
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
- Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, attempt to communicate with Transmission Control Module (TCM). If scan tool identifies or communicates with TCM, go to next step. If scan tool does not identify or communicate with TCM, go to NO RESPONSE FROM TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE under COMMUNICATIONS.
- Using scan tool, erase DTCs. Turn ignition on and wait approximately one minute. Recheck for DTCs. If NO TCM BUS MESSAGES RECEIVED resets, replace instrument cluster. See ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article. If NO TCM BUS MESSAGES RECEIVED does not reset, test is complete.
