Power Sliding Door (PSD)

Power sliding door can be opened and closed using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter, overhead console switches, "B" pillar switches or DRBIII(R) scan tool. These inputs are sent to Body Control Module (BCM). BCM then sends open/close signals along the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus to Power Sliding Door Module (PSDM) to open/close power sliding door. Power sliding door must be in full open or full closed position to operate. If an object obstructs opening or closing of power sliding door, operation will be reversed.
