Electronic Vehicle Information Center

The Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) is located in overhead console. EVIC is installed in place of CMTC as an upgrade on highline vehicles. EVIC contains same functions as Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC) but instead of using acronyms, items are spelled out. For example, EVIC will display DISTANCE TO EMPTY while CMTC will display DTE. EVIC will also display the following warning messages along with a corresponding graphic.

• TURN SIGNALS ON
• PERFORM SERVICE
• DOOR AJAR
• LIFTGATE AJAR
• WASHER FLUID LOW

When EVIC is replaced, it may be necessary to reset compass calibration. See PROGRAMMING  .
