Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Body Control Module (BCM) and junction block are attached to each other. Open driver's door and remove end cap from instrument panel. Remove instrument panel center bezel and instrument cluster hood.
  2. Disconnect electrical connectors from rear of junction block. Remove junction block from left side of instrument panel by pulling junction block/BCM straight down and out of mount.
  3. Remove 2 screws attaching BCM to junction block and disconnect internal connector to remove. To install, reverse removal procedure. Program BCM after installation. See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING.
