Headlights Fail To Flash During Alarm

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Ensure low beam headlights are operating properly. Repair low beam headlights as necessary. See HEADLIGHT SYSTEMS article. If low beam headlights are operating properly, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module connector, located under pad in center of instrument panel. Connect a 12-volt test light between RKE module connector terminal No. 1, dimmer switch low beam output circuit (Violet/White wire) and ground. See Figure. Turn low beam headlights on. If test light illuminates, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light does not illuminate, repair open Violet/White wire.
