Wiper Motor: Removal

The Wiper Module Assembly must be removed to service the wiper motor.

Open hood and disconnect the negative battery-cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.
Remove wiper module. Refer to WIPER MODULE .
Disconnect wiper module master link from motor crank by carefully using a ball and socket wedge. Do not damage ball and socket or seal when using wedge.
Remove three retaining bolts from the wiper motor (Fig 1 ).

Remove wiper motor from wiper module.
