DTC P0460: Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Miles: Description

Fuel level is monitored with engine running and fuel level at less than 15 percent or more than 85 percent capacity. DTC will set in Powertrain Control Module (PCM) memory when PCM senses low fuel for more than 120 miles, or high fuel level that does not change by at least 10 percent for more than 100 miles. Possible causes are: damaged fuel tank, signal circuit open or shorted to ground, ground circuit open or defective fuel level sensor.
