DTC P0703: Brake Switch Sense Circuit: Notes

NOTE: Cruise control system is also referred to a Speed Control (S/C) system.

NOTE: Brake switch may also be referred to as brakelight or stoplight switch.

Brake switch sense circuit is monitored with engine running. PCM expects signal from brake switch to be high for 16 cycles during acceleration and deceleration modes. DTC will set in PCM if improper brake switch signal is received within preset parameters.
