Trip & Reset Button Fault

Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read button state. Press trip and reset buttons while observing scan tool. If scan tool display does not change from PRESSED to RELEASED, replace instrument cluster Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) display board. If scan tool display changes from PRESSED to RELEASED, system is functioning properly at this time. Fault may be intermittent.
