No Response From HVAC

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Heating/Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) module 21-pin connector C1. HVAC module is part of heating-A/C control assembly in center of instrument panel. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 21 (Black/Light Green wire) at HVAC module connector. See Fig 1 . If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Black/Light Green wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 10 (Brown/Pink wire) at HVAC module connector C1. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open in Brown/Pink wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
  3. Connect one end of a jumper wire to ground. Using other end of jumper wire, backprobe terminal No. 16 (White/Black wire) at HVAC module connector C1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select BODY, BODY COMPUTER, then SYSTEM TEST. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in Violet/Brown wire. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, go to next step.
  4. Disconnect jumper wire from terminal No. 16 and reconnect jumper wire to terminal No. 14 (Violet/Brown wire) at HVAC module connector C1. Perform CCD BUS test. If scan tool does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in Violet/Brown wire. If scan tool displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, replace HVAC module.
