Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2001 Dodge Caravan, 2001 Chrysler Voyager, and 2001 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove wiper arms. Remove cowl cover. Open hood. Disconnect positive lock on wiper module electrical connector. See Fig 1 . Disconnect wiper module electrical connector from engine compartment wiring harness. Disconnect washer hose from coupling inside unit.
  2. Disconnect drain tubes from nipples on bottom of wiper module. Remove wiper module-to-lower windshield fence nuts. Remove wiper module-to-dash panel bolts. See Fig 2 .
  3. Remove wiper module. DO NOT allow wiper module to rest on brake master cylinder reservoir. To install, reverse removal procedure.
