Stabilizer Bar: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

CAUTION: DO NOT pull knuckle outward, thus stretching half-shaft and possibly separating CV. See appropriate FWD AXLE SHAFTS article in DRIVE AXLES. When stabilizer bar is installed, position stabilizer bar so lower part of it is centered in middle of cradle assembly. Failure to do this may cause stabilizer bar to come in contact with other suspension components. DO NOT turn strut-to-steering knuckle bolts. Bolts are serrated and will damage steering knuckle if rotated. Remove nuts from strut-to-steering knuckle bolts.
