Dash Silencer: Removal

  1. Remove all parts mounting through the dash silencer. (Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY  ), (Refer to HVAC HOUSING ), (Refer to COLUMN ), (Refer to BRAKE PEDAL ), (Refer to ACCELERATOR PEDAL ), (Refer to CROSS CAR BEAM ) and etc.
  2. Feed electrical wires back through the silencer wiring pass through holes (Fig 1 ).

  3. Remove fasteners attaching silencer to the dash and side cowls.
  4. Remove silencer from vehicle.
