The Saginaw tilt-type steering column has been designed to be serviced as a complete assembly. Most steering column components may be serviced without removing steering column from vehicle.
WARNING:
To avoid injury from accidental air bag deployment, read and carefully follow all SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Deactivate air bag system before performing any repairs. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM
