Wipers Run At Low Speed With Switch In High Speed Position
- Remove HIGH/LOW wiper relay from power distribution center. See Figure . Replace with known-good relay. If system operates normally, replace HIGH/LOW wiper relay. If system still operates at low speed in high position, go to next step.
- Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) White 12-pin harness connector C3. Check continuity in Violet wire between HIGH/LOW wiper relay terminal "C" and BCM harness connector C3 terminal No. 12. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . See Figure and Figure . If continuity does not exist, repair open Violet wire. If continuity exists, go to next step.
- Check wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If wiper/washer switch is defective, replace wiper/washer switch. See WIPER SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If wiper/washer switch is okay, check for binding linkage. See WIPERS RUN SLOWLY AT ALL SPEEDS .
