No Trouble Code Repair Procedure

Check if initial symptom still exists. If initial or another symptom exists, repair is not complete. Check for Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) that apply or flash updates and return to TEST NTC-1: NO TROUBLE CODE TEST MENU  , if necessary.

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using scan tool, erase DTCs and reset all values. Road test vehicle and use all accessories related to repair. Using scan tool, read GLOBAL GOOD TRIPS. If global good trips is zero, repair is not complete. If initial or another symptom exists, repair is not complete. Check for Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) that apply or flash updates and return to TEST NTC-1: NO TROUBLE CODE TEST MENU  , if necessary. If no DTCs are present and global good trips is not zero, repair was successful. Repair is complete.
