Windshield Wiper Test 2E - Wipers Not Working At All

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect wiper motor Light Gray 4-pin connector and ensure connector is clean and not damaged. Ensure jumper wire between terminal "B" (Red/Gray wire) on intermittent wiper relay and terminal "D" (Brown/Orange wire) on HI/LO wiper relay is connected. See Figure in WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A.
  2. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 3 (Brown/Orange wire) on wiper motor 4-pin connector. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open in Brown/Orange wire between HI/LO relay and wiper motor.
  3. Using external ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 2 (Black wire) on wiper motor 4-pin connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace wiper motor. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Black wire between wiper motor 4-pin connector terminal and ground.
