Windshield Wiper Test 2C - Wipers Not Working At All

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Remove intermittent wiper relay from Power Distribution Center (PDC). Ensure connector is clean and not damaged. See Figure in WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A. Remove HI/LO wiper relay and ensure connector is clean and not damaged. Using external ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and terminal "B" (Red/Gray wire) on intermittent wiper relay socket. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Red/Gray wire and replace wiper fuse No. 14 (40-amp).
  2. Using external ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and terminal "A" (Dark Green/Violet wire) on intermittent relay socket. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Dark Green/Violet wire between intermittent wiper relay and HI/LO wiper relay, and replace wiper fuse No. 14 (40-amp).
  3. Disconnect wiper motor Light Gray 4-pin connector. Ensure connector is clean and not damaged. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance between terminal "D" (Brown/Orange wire) on HI/LO wiper relay. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Brown/Orange wire between wiper motor 4-pin connector and HI/LO wiper relay. Replace wiper fuse No. 14 (40-amp).
  4. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal "B" (Red/Yellow wire) on HI/LO wiper relay. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Red/Yellow wire between HI/LO wiper relay and wiper motor 4-pin connector. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace wiper motor and wiper fuse No. 14 (40-amp).
