Description & Operation: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Eagle Talon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The anti-theft system disables starter, flashes headlights and sounds horn if any doors, trunk, hatchback or hood is opened without using key or keyless entry controller, or if battery cables are disconnected then reconnected when system is activated.

Anti-theft system is controlled by Electronic Timer Alarm Control System (ETACS). ETACS-ECU is located behind driver's lower dash panel, to left side of steering column, on back of junction block.
