Power Mirror Motor

  1. Remove mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH R & I  . Disconnect wiring harness connector at switch.
  2. Connect one end of jumper wire to 12-volt source. Connect one end of second jumper wire to a good body ground. Connect remaining end of each jumper wire to specified pins on harness side (not switch side). See Fig 1 . See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST  table. If mirror operation is not as specified in table, check circuit for broken or shorted wire. If wiring is okay, replace mirror assembly as necessary.

Apply 12 Volts To Pin No. (1) Ground Pin No. Mirror Operation (Right) Mirror Operation (Left)
4 5 Up ---
8 5 --- Up
5 4 Down ---
5 8 --- Down
6 3 Right ---
6 7 --- Right
3 6 Left ---
7 6 --- Left
