Instrument Cluster Test 2A - All Gauges Do Not Operate
NOTE:
Perform INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Turn ignition to OFF (UNLOCK) position. Using scan tool, select BODY, ELECTRO/MECH CLUSTER. Select ACTUATION TEST. If gauges move from lower to upper limits, go to next step. If gauges do not move, replace Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC).
- Turn ignition on with engine off. Using scan tool, select BODY, then BODY CONTROL MODULE. Select INPUT/OUTPUT and read IGNITION SWITCH RUN/START status. If scan tool displays switch CLOSED, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is mounted to junction block. See Figure in CHIME TEST 2A. If scan tool does not display switch CLOSED, see VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS .
