Traction Control Warning (TRAC OFF) Light

The Amber TRAC OFF light is located on message center at center of instrument panel. When ignition is first turned on, TRAC OFF light will come on for 2 seconds as a bulb check and then go off. The TRAC OFF light will come on to inform the driver that LTCS has been turned off by CAB or traction control switch. TRAC OFF light may also come on when LTCS has been deactivated to prevent damage to brake system due to brake pad overheating. If a failure exists in ABS or LTCS, TRAC OFF light will come on to inform driver of system malfunction.
