Test 20B: Valve Power Feed Circuit

NOTE: Perform TEST 20A: VALVE POWER FEED CIRCUIT  before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. Turn ignition off. Remove ABS main relay. Inspect ABS main relay connector and terminals for damage. Repair connector and terminals as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST  . If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
  2. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and ABS main relay connector terminal "C" (Orange/Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, replace ABS main relay. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST  .
  3. Disconnect CAB connector. Inspect CAB connector and terminals for damage. Repair connector and terminals as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST  . If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
  4. Check resistance between ground and CAB connector terminal No. 32 (Orange/Black wire). If resistance is 50 ohms or more, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST  . If resistance is less than 50 ohms, repair short to ground in Orange/Black wire between CAB and ABS main relay. Perform TEST VER-1A.
