Camshaft Position Sensor: Installation
- If old sensor is being reused, remove old paper spacer from sensor face. Install a NEW paper spacer to sensor face before installing sensor. If installing a new sensor, ensure paper spacer is attached to sensor face.
- Install CMP sensor by pushing down until paper spacer makes contact with camshaft sprocket. Hold sensor in position and tighten CMP sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect sensor wiring harness connector.
