Test 36A - One Inoperative Courtesy Lamp

NOTE: For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER  section in this article. Perform TEST VER-1  VERIFICATION TEST after each repair.
  1. Remove inoperative courtesy lamp. If lamp is open, replace lamp. If lamp is okay, disconnect inoperative lamp assembly. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on lamp assembly connector (Pink wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair open ground circuit of inoperative lamp assembly. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Pink wire.
