Test 141B - Disarming System

NOTE: Perform TEST 141A  before proceeding with this test.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Rotate key in left front door to UNLOCK position. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using scan tool, read VTSS status. If scan tool displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, system is functioning properly. Go to TEST 141A . If scan tool does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, go to next step.
  2. Rotate key in left front door to UNLOCK position again. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using scan tool, read VTSS status. If scan tool displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, system is functioning properly. Go to TEST 141A . If scan tool does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, replace body control module.
