Antilock Warning Lamp Circuit

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see wiring diagram.
  1. Disconnect ABS relay. See Figure. Inspect, clean or repair connector as necessary. If ANTI-LOCK warning light does not glow continuously, go to TEST 16A. If ANTI-LOCK warning light glows continuously, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, read ANTILOCK LAMP I/O state. If scan tool displays ANTILOCK LAMP ON, go to TEST 1A. If scan tool displays ANTILOCK LAMP OFF, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect CAB 60-pin connector. See Figure. If ANTI-LOCK warning light glows, repair short to ground in Light Green/Orange wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If ANTI-LOCK warning light does not glow, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A.
