Pump/Motor Circuit
NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see wiring diagram.
- Ensure pump/motor is still actuating. Using scan tool, read INPUT STATE of pump/motor output. If pump/motor is cycling between on and off, pump/motor circuit is operating properly at this time. Perform TEST VER-1A. If pump/motor is not cycling on and off, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, stop pump/motor actuation. Turn ignition off. Disconnect pump/motor relay connector. Disconnect CAB 60-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connectors as necessary. Connect a jumper wire between chassis ground and Brown/White wire at pump/motor relay connector. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of CAB connector terminal No. 20 (Brown/White wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Brown/White wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A.
