Removal & Installation

Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) module is located behind glove box. See Fig 1 . Vehicle may be operated without VTSS module if module is removed while vehicle is running. Remove underdash panel. Remove glove box assembly.
Remove module bracket mounting screws, and lower bracket/module assembly. Remove VTSS module wiring connector. Remove keyless module to access VTSS module mounting screws. Remove VTSS module. For installation, reverse removal procedures.
