Description & Operation
Power windows are operated by a permanent magnet type electric motor mounted in each door. A master control switch provides ground to each motor. A 20-amp circuit breaker, located in junction block cavity No. 19, is used to protect power window circuit. Changing polarity at each motor will cause motor to rotate in reverse direction.
Driver's master control switch has a lock-out feature that restricts passenger window operation when it is engaged. All switches are illuminated with LED's located inside switch. LED's have power all the time except when lock-out feature is engaged.
