Cab Sensor Circuits

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see wiring diagram.
  1. Inspect each Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) for corrosion or water contamination, and repair as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If WSS connectors are okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) 60-pin connector. Inspect, clean and repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If connector is okay, turn ignition on. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on CAB connector terminals No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9. See Figure. If reading is more than one volt on any circuit, repair short to power in appropriate wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If reading is less than one volt on all circuits, go to TEST 20A.
