TEST 3B - Diagnosing Lock Signal To Body Controller

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagrams, see appropriate chassis wiring diagram in the WIRING DIAGRAMS Section.
  1. Using DRB-II, stop door lock actuation test. Put DRB-II in voltmeter mode. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect body controller Black connector. Body controller is located behind right kick panel. Check connector condition, and clean or repair connector as necessary.
  2. Probe terminal No. 4 (Orange/Violet wire) of body controller Black connector. While observing DRB-II, lock doors using left door lock switch. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace body controller. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 . If voltage is less than 10 volts, check door lock wiring and switch. Repair as necessary. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .
