Voltmeter Circuit Test

  1. Remove voltmeter from instrument cluster. With ignition on, check for battery voltmeter (B+) pin and voltmeter ground pin. See Figure .
  2. Voltmeter readings should indicate regulated alternator output or battery voltage, whichever is greater. If voltage did not exist, check wiring and battery voltage. If voltage did exist, replace voltmeter.
