3.0L MPFI Tests W/Codes: Description

The 3.0L Multi-Point Fuel Injection (MPFI) computerized engine control system controls the fuel system, ignition system and emission control system.

The engine control system utilizes a Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC) to regulate air/fuel ratio, automatic transaxle solenoids, charging system, cooling fan, emission control components, idle speed and ignition timing.
