Start Mode (4-Bbl.)

During cranking, an electrical signal from the distributor "Start" pick-up coil is fed into the computer. This signal causes the computer to fire the spark plugs at a fixed amount of advance during engine cranking only. The amount of advance is determined by distributor position.
