Window Lift Motor Test
- Remove door trim panel for access to motor. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect positive and negative leads from a test battery to window lift motor terminals. See Fig 1 . The motor should operate in one direction.
- Reverse current through same terminals and motor should operate in opposite direction. If window does not move, remove motor and inspect gear and pinion. See WINDOW LIFT MOTOR R & I under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
