Steering Gear - Power: Description
The power steering gear displaces fluid to provide hydraulic pressure assist while turning. A torsion bar helps transmit road feel to the driver. A one-piece rack piston nut is geared to the cross shaft. Backlash is adjusted with an adjusting screw.
